Bound for South Australia

Bound for South Australia

Portal page for projects related to immigration to South Australia. Here is a video to get you in the mood: Bound For South Australia

SEARCH your Last Name here Then note what ship they came out in. Find it on the list and ADD the profiles.

This is a great time to add the profile to an Occupation Project and also to the country they settled FROM, 'Irish ; German and Prussian ; English ; Cornish ; Scottish ; Channel Islanders ; Norwegian ; Belgian ; Greek ; Italian ; Chinese ; Syrian ; Mauritian ; African ; Indian ; Canadian

Please excuse any generalization of German or "Prussian" that may not be correct.

If you want a project added here please message Private User with the name of your passenger and source/passenger list link :)

Just for fun "L"

The difference between other Australians and authentic South Australians is easily known when you ask them to say School. A South Australian's tongue ends up against the top front teeth, other Australians finish on the roof of the mouth.

NB: It may take time to get these projects created, if you have profiles ready to add to a voyage and the project does not exist, please message Private User to have it created for you. If you feel confident to create it yourself, please request to collaborate. Projects have a set format at this stage, and naming can be copied from existing projects. The list should also be updated and the project added to HistoryLink once it contains some profiles. Thanks :).
