You could potentially help so many other people that are matches as well, and mainly people that think they are descendants because they have been told so by their grandparents, but have no clue how. Even your own family. Or you could gift a kit to a family member or friend
Please try to keep in mind, the best practice is to prepare the kit in front of you. So you are sure it's prepared properly, for the person intended for. And you make sure it is mailed correctly.

      '''The way it works is.''' The test is done on the https://www.familytreedna.com/products/big-y website. Once the results are ready, it could be connected to the profile of the tester on geni.com  and it will show for the father to father to father as well.  And to the son to sons as well. 

Another important thing, It would be a great idea to invest another few dollars, and have them do the family-finder test as well. Because if it turns out they are not Ben Achar Ben. They could eventually at least figure out if they are even related to that Rebbe's family. The family finder test are usually on sale during most calendar holidays. And offer to keep his name confidential if the person does not feel comfortable having his full name in the results.

If we coulud get people from the same lineages but from different children to test, would be amazing. Because if we test more people we have more to compare it with. And more people might be able to confirm their Yischus.
