M. M. and Wilda J. Foote were the previous owners of this property, dissolving their ownership on September 11, 1903. From that two cemeteries merged, the IOOF Cemetery and the Masonic Cemetery. Burials began in the all of 1902, though lots were not available for sale until 1903. In 1954, the ownership was handed over to the Chelan Cemetery Association. The merging of these two cemeteries became known as the existing Fraternal Cemetery. The Chelan Cemetery Association is now referred to as the Chelan County Cemetery District #4, which oversees both the Fraternal Cemetery and the Riverview Cemetery, both located in Chelan and can be reached at (509) 682-5743.
