This is a sub-project of the Child Emigration from Britain to Canada (Barnardo Homes).
This one is for the Barnardo Homes children that were going to Hazel Brae in Peterborough, Ontario. The Home was known as Hazel Brae from its founding in 1893 until Margaret Cox, the wife of the original owner of the building died in 1912. It then became known as The Margaret Cox Home until it closed in 1924.
