Craw Cemetery, Sadorus, Illinois

The Craw Cemetery is located in the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 25-18-7, and is about one mile north of Sadorus, [Champaign County, Illinois]. It contains about three acres of land.

The land was first laid off into lots on May 1, 1873. The Mrs. Lucy Craw Addition to the cemetery was laid out on September 13, 1895.

In the Portrait and Biographical Album of Champaign County, published by Chapman Brothers in 1887, the information is given that Edmond, the youngest son of Allen and Lucy Craw was the first burial there in April, 1873.

It is reported that thirteen G.A.R. Veterans and two World War veterans are buried in this cemetery.
