At one time, it was believed that Dunnellon Memorial Gardens and Rockwell Cemetery were one in the same. They in-fact are not. Rockwell Cemetery has it's own roots unaffiliated with Dunnellon Memorial Gardens. They were merged as one because a lot of folks identify them as one. Dunnellon Memorial Gardens is still an active cemetery, whereas Rockwell will not accept any more burials (unless under the most unusual circumstances) because the City of Dunnellon does not have any plot paperwork to identify where someone is buried due to lost, destroyed, or damaged markers.
The cemetery is located on 10939 SW 210th Ave, Dunnellon, Marion County, Florida.
