East Florida, the 14th Colony

This project is to discuss and research the East Florida Colony controlled variously by Spain and Britain.

Notables

60th (Royal American) Regiment of Foot, later the King's Royal Rifle Corps, raised in 1755 as the 62nd and renumbered as the 60th in 1756. The American Regiment of Infantry operated in East and West Florida. (See Journal of Southern History).
