Evergreen Memorial Park is physically located in Albany County with a mailing address of 2150 Central Ave, Schenectady, N.Y. 12304. 518-372-0030. It was originally the Ostrom farm and a trolley stop. In 1936 Evergreen Memorial Park was created as a not-of-profit non-sectarian cemetery corporation. Is is about 40 acres, 13 of which are developed. Since 1956 it has been family run and in 1974 the Sanctuary of Faith Mausoleum was built. There are nine gardens including a Garden of Faith Urn Garden and The Willows which is located pond side. The Willows offers memorialization without interment to honor those whose ashes were scattered elsewhere.
