EN: Joannes Baptista Frappier currently is the oldest 'Frappier' we can find in The Netherlands. He married in 1783 in Venlo (NL) and had 10 children, of which there are living descendants. Through online searching, it looks like the Dutch Frappier may have come from France through Belgium. Some Frappier are documented as far back as the 16th century. We also see Frappier (or name variants, possibly related) around the world. The objective of this project is to bring together ALL the Frappier profiles we can find and work together to establish the connections to our common Frappier ancestors.

FR: Joannes Baptista Frappier est actuellement le plus ancien 'Frappier' trouvé aux Pays-Bas. Il s'est marié en 1783 à Venlo (NL) et il a eu 10 enfants, dont plusieurs descendants vivant aujourd'hui. En cherchant en ligne, il apparaît que les Frappier hollandais seraient venus de France via la Belgique. Certains sont documentés jusqu'au 16ème siècle. Nous voyons également des Frappier (souvent sous des noms modifiés et donc pas nécessairement liés) de par le monde. L'objectif de ce projet est de réunir TOUS les profils Frappier et de collaborer afin de tracer nos ancêtres Frappier communs.

NL: Joannes Baptista Frappier lijkt momenteel de oudste 'Frappier' in Nederland. Hij trouwde in 1783 te Venlo (NL) en had 10 kinderen, waarvan sommige afstammelingen vandaag leven. Via een online zoektocht komen we erop uit dat de Nederlandse Frappier vermoedelijk via België uit Frankrijk kwamen. Sommige Frappier aldaar zijn zelfs tot in de 16de eeuw gedocumenteerd. We zien ook tal van andere Frappier (of varianten, dus niet noodzakelijk gerelateerd) elders ter wereld. De doelstelling van dit project is ALLE Frappier profielen samen te brengen en samen te bouwen aan een gemeenschappelijke Frappier stamboom.
