Fir Lane Memorial Park is located few miles south of Tacoma in Spanaway, Pierce County, Washington. The cemetery was founded in 1958, and now has 16 of 80 acres developed. The balance of the property remains a natural forest, just the way it was a century ago.

A chapel was constructed in 1964 for funeral and memorial services. In 1976 a funeral home was added offering complete funeral arrangements, services, room for receptions, visitation rooms and office space. A crematorium was added in 1988 to meet the needs of the community.

Heritage Mausoleum was built in 1992. The Mausoleum is comprised of full crypts for entombment and niches for cremated remains. The pillar building has hand-carved brick murals on each side and flags representing Washington and the United States.

The newest facility is the Park Side Room, offers space for informal memorial services and receptions. The facility provides family gatherings with refreshments such as coffee and cookies to more elaborate catered light lunches.

Artificial flowers are permitted on graves in the winter months from October 1st through April 1st. These flowers will be removed during the summer. Fresh flowers are permitted at any time during the years and Christmas flowers are permitted between Thanksgiving and February 1st.

Fir Lane Memorial Park is open each day from 8 a.m. until dusk.
