This is a relatively small (though well-kept) cemetery with limited staff, so there may not be anyone in the office when you call or visit; it is probably advisable to call in advance if you will need help in locating graves. Visiting hours are from 8-5 daily, but office hours are only from 9-3 on weekdays; the office is closed on weekends. The cemetery does not provide maps, but the staff seems to be helpful in leading visitors to the location of graves. Be advised that the cemetery has unpaved gravel roads, generally too narrow for cars to pass one another or to turn around, even at crossroads.
This cemetery is located on 4135 West 127th Street, Alsip, Cook County, Illinois.
Affiliated with the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, at 2519 Grove Street in Blue Island, which has some early burial records. The South Suburban Genealogical and Historical Society Library holds burial records for 1884-94 and 1895-1906 on microfilm.
