The Freedman family of Poland.
Poland 1887/1888 - Eliezer (Who was a Cohen, last name unknown), My 2nd great grandfather was a rav in Poland who drowned when his wife(Annie?) was preganant. The baby was named eliezer ben eliezer. The name was later changed to Louis.
After his death, she carried on his tafkid, giving pskei halacha...
When they moved to the UK (around 1905), they changed the name to Freedman. We don't know much about him or his original family name.
We are trying to locate any leads on the life they had when they arrived to the UK. This is easier as we are talking after 1905 and in London
The mother (Annie?) moved to London with her 3 kids (Avraham, Yetta?, Louis). Yetta and her family died in the Blitz.
Here is what I want to find out.
1. Eleazer - Who was here? Where did he come from? What was the name of his family name?
2. Annie - Was that her name? what was her birth family name?
3. Yetta - Was that her name? Who did she marry? did they have any children?
4. Poland - We have in Geni that they were from Wlocklawek, Poland. I am not sure if they are from that city, or maybe a village in that area.
