The columbarium is NOT open to the public. Visitors must call ahead for an appointment to gain access to the columbarium.

The Columbarium is located in the consecrated Chapel of Saint Francis on the second level of the Cathedral's bell tower, where it will be maintained in perpetuity.

Acquisition of a Columbarium space includes a committal service in the chapel as well as the opportunity for a larger memorial service in another area of the Cathedral. Ashes from cremation are sealed in a bronze urn that is placed permanently in the Columbarium. A bronze plaque on the cabinet door identifies the placement of the remains.

Quarterly requiem services are held in the Chapel of Saint Francis to commemorate the anniversaries of the deaths of those who are remembered there. The Chapel is open for meditation and prayer at scheduled times and by request.
