Proven Ancestors

This is a list of historical profiles on Geni that have been proven with atDNA.

Each link will take you a specific Proof Page, and there will be a link on that page to the identified historical page.

Genetic pair, a husband and wife (or equivalent) that produced the genes segments that were passed to their children and have been identified in people who have had there atDNA tested, and matched to at least two other individuals that are not in the same direct descendant line from the Genetic Pair. That is the third match should not be your parents or grandparents.

Note from Linda:
I have 202 atDNA matches on Geni, and too many to count on GEDmatch. My tree is completed out to at least 10 generations on all but one branch (goes into Sweden) and I only have one triangulated match. I don't think this list will grow too big. Many of my Geni matches are from that Swedish line but since I have no knowledge or records on it the DNA is meaningless.
