This project seeks to bring together people interested in the Jewish community of Yanov al-yad Pinsk, today Ivanava, Belarus. Please join the project if you have family from this town, would like to share historic photos or records of the Jewish community, or are otherwise interested. The town is located 22 miles W of Pinsk, 16 miles E of Drahichin (Drogichin). It should not be confused with various towns in Poland called Janów, included Janów Podlaski, nor with Jonava, Lithuania.
