Gollancz, Golancz is a small town in the Posen area. It is near Wogrowicz, Wogrowiec.

Jewish presence was limited even during the 1800's. Edward David Luft's book, The Naturalized Jews of the Grand Duchy of Posen in 1834 and 1835, Revised Edition, 2004, published by Avotaynu lists 25 individuals who gained naturalization in this town.
