This project seeks to list representatives of all of the Jewish families from the Bohemian village of Prašný Újezd (Praschno Aujezd) in the Czech Republic.
Also referred to as Praschno-Aujezd, Prasch-Aujest, Prašno Oujezd, Prašný Újezd today "has about 42 residents It is situated nearby to Skoupý, and east of Kladruby, about 40 Km Pizen (Pilsen). The first written mention of the village is in the forgery of a document dated 1115, according to which a certain Willart donated Prašný Újezd to the Kladruby monastery" (Prašný Újezd in Wikipedia; in Czech).
The village "used the cemetery at Teresov" (per International Jewish Cemetery Project), which has been undergoing restoration. "Around 300 tombstones have been preserved in the cemetery with an entrance from the north, the oldest of which date from 1725 and 1729" (Židovský hřbitov v Terešově, Wikipedia, in Czech).
