This Project aims to facilitate collaboration between distant Knobel families related in some way to the 'original' South African Knobel - Johann ('Hans') Balthasar Christian Knobel. It aims to 'capture' the history and true relationships of the Family and hopefully reconnect us.
It is anticipated that there will be mistakes made, and interesting connections identified. However, with patience and tolerance, we should be able to agree, and in some cases compromise, in the best interests of the whole.
An original copy of the source book that started this "The Knobel Family and Relationships" written by J.B. Knobel can be found in the South African Library (Cape Town).
