Lakeland Memorial Park resides in Monroe, Union County, North Carolina. The earliest burial dates from 1908 and the burials continue through the present. With the lake as its centerpiece, Lakeland Memorial Park is an active, well maintained burying ground.
There is a large portion of the cemetery dedicated to veterans as well as a lasting memorial stone built in their honor.
