Funeral directors were generally prominent figures in Lithuanian-American communities (as they were in all communities). If they were born in Lithuania, they generally became well-assimilated in the United States, and often were the "go-to" people for others in the Lithuanian community. This project is for Lithuanian-American funeral directors.
