Memorial Park Cemetery, Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, USA:
Calvary Cemetery was opened north of Memorial Park in 1929 as an African American Cemetery. In the 1940's, Memorial Park purchased Calvary Cemetery and there has been no distinction between the two since. However, many death certificates still refer to that part of the cemetery as Calvary Cemetery.
Sometime before the purchase, all records for Calvary were burned so many unmarked, unknown graves exist there.
