To reach the cemetery from the corner of Grand Blanc Road and Jennings Road in Rankin, Genesee County, drive south onto Jennings Road for 1 mile, turn right (west) onto Cook Road. The cemetery is on the south side of Cook Road. It is set off the road, and is accessible via a single lane from Cook Road to the cemetery.
Mount Hope Cemetery was established in 1836, and at some time previously was known as the Pearsall Cemetery. The cemetery is now owned by the Mundy Township.
