Location: Hadley Township. Near Silk Hope Crossroads, on west side of SR 1504, Mt. Vernon--Hickory Mountain Road, 0.2 mile south of SR 1346, Silk Hope--Gum Springs Road.

The church is believed to have been organized as early as 1832. On 19 July 1832, Joseph John 'Chatham Jack' Alston gave a deed for 4 acres to Edward Perry, Thomas Crutchfield, Lewis Lutterloh, Turner Perry, Henry Rogers, William Perry and John Cole, as trustees.
