The cemetery has been known as Dutch Reformed Churchyard, Elmwood Cemetery and Lebanon Reformed Church Cemetery New.
When the Lebanon Reformed Church burned down, they rebuilt their church in a different area of town, that is why there are two cemeteries with the same name.
The original Lebanon Reformed Church Cemetery, is on Cherry Street. This newer cemetery, on Brunswick Ave., connects to the church now.
