Oakwood Cemetery lies quietly nestled on 20 acres beside Converse College on Spartanburg's east side. Visitors to this notable cemetery find it a peaceful place that tells the history of the city through magnificent sculptures and the early residents buried there.
West Oakwood is accessible from either Oakwood Drive or Avant Street, Spartanburg, SC. Oligocene Street divides the cemetery into two main sections; each section is divided by sidewalks; hence, they are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4
