Old Cemetery is located in Mount Morris, Livingston County, New York. The earliest, recorded burial dates from 1806 and final interments occurred in the 1940s. Though the grounds are maintained, the cemetery is no longer active.

"Old Cemetery is also known as Chapel Hill Cemetery or Old Town Cemetery and is on Chapel St. (Hwy #408) in the town of Mt. Morris. Pre dating the Mt. Morris Cemetery (est. circa 1859), it is about 1/2 mile east of the larger Mt. Morris Cemetery. This cemetery is mowed and stones are standing, but many of the stones are on the ground and many are not legible (possibly may need to be rubbed for possible identification). It is probably about an acre or so in size and contains over 250 burials. Some of the burials in this cemetery were likely moved there from an earlier church or community cemetery.... Lost remains at the church cemetery have been dug up as recent as 2005 during road construction and interred in the Mt Morris City Cemetery.
In 1846, "Old Cemetery" was referred to as the "Old Town Cemetery" and had a pottery next door to it."
