Old Pensacola Fort Burial Ground, Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida, USA:
The official burial ground for the "Old Fort" at Pensacola was located inside one of the parallels, outside the fort stockade. This "Burial Ground of the Fort at Pensacola" was used by the British for some years, until the Fort itself was captured by the Spanish. Sadly, the burial ground was only a short distance from the shore. The graves were soon undermined by the waters of the Gulf and the Spanish marauders who carried away the bricks from the enclosures surrounding the graves.
