Not all original art works are in galleries, not all artists are recognized or notable. This project is where we may upload a photo of an original artwork that otherwise may not be seen by the family or public.

Featured painting, oil on canvas, has been in a private collection for over 45 years by Charles Bannon (1919-1993), father of the late Hon Dr John Bannon AO, premiere of South Australia. "Little Boy Lost" a painting of his son Nicholas, lost and died in Wilpena Pound, Flinders Ranges, South Australia in 1959.

If you have such pieces in your home or collection, please take the time to upload it here, and make sure to label it as best you can:

  • Artists Name
  • Year produced
  • Title
  • Artists Statement if possible or explanation in detail of the work, the subject etc.
  • Add a link to the artists profile on geni.com

Then please add, or request to add the artists profile to this project. If the artist is not on geni, it may be something you could work on to include them in the world family tree.
