This project is for those who are buried in Oswego Cemetery, Oswego, Kendall County, Illinois.
The cemetery is located on Main Street, near the intersection of Routes 25 & 71 and is also called Oswego Township Cemetery.
The cemetery was originally owned by J.B. Judson. Judson sold the first lot in the cemetery to Amos Holt for $3.00. First plot was sold in 1855. Judson continued as owner well into the 1870's. The cemetery is divided into three sections: Section A is the south end (towards Yorkville, IL), Section B is the middle, and Section C is the newest section added in 1877 and is the section closest to Oswego. The Cemetery is owned and operated by the Oswego Cemetery Association.
