Profiles of passengers of the Winthrop Fleet and it's flagship Arbella ; research on how they might be related via DNA or genealogy and genealogy.

HM Arbella which departed England in March of 1630, being the flagship of what is today known as the "Winthrop Fleet". There were at least seven ships in this fleet, and aboard the flagship Arbella was the new Governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. The ship arrived in late May 1630, with some of the other ships not leaving until April 1630; the Arbella landed first at Salem, Mass. where most passengers disembarked, including Gov. Winthrop and his party. Governor Winthrop would then become the new governor of the Massachussetts Bay Colony. The other vessels in the Winthrop Fleet were the Talbot, Jewel, Mayflower, Whale, Success, Charles, William & Francis, Hopewell, and the Trial.
