The Path To User App allows a Geni user to find the relationship between his (or any other profile) to another profile or to a collection of profiles added to a project.
To use the app to find your relationships to a collection of profiles in a Geni project, simply go to https://path-to-user.herokuapp.com/
Agree to Geni's Terms of Use and then log into your Geni account to authorize the App. (Note: the App does not record or save any information. It merely operates by using Geni's relationship finder to present your results.)
Choose a Profile. Select My Profile or to run the app to find relationships to a different profile, select Another Profile and enter the profile id number (the long number at the end of the url on any Geni profile page).
Click on Choose Target Profile or Project.
If you click on Profile and enter the profile id number, you can use the app just like the Geni relationship finder to find the relationship to a single Geni profile
If you click on Project, select one of the listed projects or type in the project id of any Geni project (the number at the end of the url of any Geni project). Then you will find the relationships from the source profile to ALL of the profiles attached to the Geni project.

The Connection number is the number of steps between the profiles. A step is a parent, child, sibling or spouse.
Click on the name to get to the full relationship path on Geni in a new tab.
Go back to the Path To User tab to explore some more. To start over, click in the upper right on the
