This rural cemetery is on a sprawling prairie in Maysfield, Milam County, Texas.
The cemetery dates back to 1867.
The graves are scattered throughout the property. The signage is located over the drive-thru gate, and the property is clean with room for expansion.
This burial ground is very calm and peaceful due to the rolling land and beautiful trees. Many tall, older headstones are found in this location, as well as curbing around many family plots. The cemetery is fenced, but the grounds are not plotted. There is one unusual headstone that is mounted in a petrified tree. There is a small walk-thru gate beside the driveway gate.
