The cemetery is located in Forsyth County, North Carolina. The cemetery is at the intersection of Community Church Road and Yadkinville Road, west of the city of Winston-Salem. It is also known as Pfafftown Cemetery.
This congregation was organized about 1865 under the leadership of Virgil A. Wilson, who served as the church's pastor until his death in 1905. A church building was erected in 1870. The cemetery predates the congregation with a first grave in 1842. Portions of the cemetery are organized in family plots with multiple burials. A church building was erected in 1870. The current church building is on Transou Road about 0.5 mile away.
