Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean, Cattaraugus County, New York

Pleasant Valley Cemetery resides in Olean, Cattaraugus County, New York. The cemetery was overseen and maintained by the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Association. As of February 7, 2023, Pleasant Valley was considered an abandoned cemetery, but now falls under the active maintenance of the town of Olean. The oldest interment is that of William Shepard, who was the first reported death in Olean: September 21, 1809. Despite its shaky status, Pleasant Valley is still active.
