Add profiles that are known or strongly believed to belong to R-Z12 paternal Haplogroup (Y-DNA). Those profiles would be direct male biological ancestors and descendants of persons who’ve taken a DNA test, determining R-Z12 (Y-DNA).

We all typically inherit 50% of our DNA from our fathers, and 50% from our mothers. And Typically* we are born with 2 sex chromosomes. Everyone inherits an X chromosome from their mothers. Then we inherit our sex determing chromosome from our biological fathers. (Another X, determines female. Y determines male). Y-haplogroups are our paternal inheritance— passed down from direct male ancestors.
