R30a is found exclusively in South Asia (India, Sri Lanka, Nepal), and people who's maternal lineage originates in this geography.
In South Africa, they are found with maternal descendants of Rebekka van Bengal, an Indian slave brought to South Africa in the early 1700s, including:
