Just because men and women of the 20th and 21st centuries entertained Red-baiting ideas does not mean that they were died-in-the-wool Red-baiters. Nonetheless, there were associations of a kind of people who were so strenuously opposed to the progressive policies of, say, an FDR that they went overboard in their characterization of these policies as "Communism".

This project is simply meant to assemble those who were either entirely, or partially, sympathetic to the Red-baiting measures through thought, deed, or action.

It is of some interest to remark upon the close association of big business with such individuals. Familial ties are also a paramount anchor to such philosophies.
