Samuel Löb Grünbaum from Adelsberg was a well known circumciser in his area; He circumcised about 455 boys in the years of 1802 to 1857.
He took notes for each of the events inside a thick book.
Samuel's book (written in Hebrew) was well preserved; It is now kept and exhibited in The Central Archives for the History of the Jewish People in Jerusalem (CAHJP) http://sites.huji.ac.il/cahjp/
He may have circumcised more children who were not registered in his book. I guess we will never know

It took many years to index the people as we don't have the full population registries of all the towns and we barely have information about the years before 1817.
