This project is for those who are buried in South Mound Cemetery, New Castle, Henry County, Indiana.
The cemetery is located in Henry Township (S half of Section 15 Township 17N Range 10E) on the southeast corner of the intersection of S Memorial Drive (Indiana State Highway 3) and Cherry Street and on the southwest corner of the intersection of S Memorial Drive and Walmart Drive. The Westlawn portion of South Mound Cemetery is located on the west side of South Memorial Drive directly west of South Mound Cemetery.
Indiana Cemetery Locations, Volume 3, published by the Indiana Genealogical Society (April 2007), gives the primary cemetery name as South Mound Cemetery with an alternate name of West Lawn Cemetery.
