This is a beautiful large cemetery located in West, McLennan County, Texas. The cemetery has good signage, an historical marker and is fenced. The property is well maintained and contains some statues and older majestic headstones. St Mary’s has a kiosk with a cemetery map and a listing of all burials and locations. There are mature trees throughout the acreage and the graves are plotted in straight rows and most contain flower arrangements. A metal building at the back of the land contains restrooms.. Expansion is readily available.
Directions: From South I 35 exit at West Texas and turn East on West Oak St. Travel until you cross the railroad track and turn right onto Main Street. Drive until you pass the West Fair and Rodeo Grounds and you will see the road fork. You will take the left road which is Cemetery road and drive until you see the cemetery on the left side of the road.
