I have created a project called "Left in a Will" but am having difficulty getting it off the ground, so to speak. I think a project listing profiles of people who LEFT a slave in a will may be easier and may help get the other one going. I am trying to find my own enslaved ancestor(s) and hope to help others to do the same
He Freed Dot Martin not yet 18 years old in 1805, to be, and all her issues, also money set aside for her education. She was very light-skinned.
