The first burial was in 1823. The cemetery is still in use and is very well kept. A number of Civil War Veterans are buried here. White marble and granite stones from the 19th century are distinctive and straight (for the most part). They have very beautiful epitaphs and unique etchings that were carved by "Risley and McCallum, Piermont, NH".

The cemetery is located in Norwich, Windsor County, Vermont.
