Early meeting minutes show that this cemetery was originally governed by a board of trustees of the East Side Cemetery Association, an organization probably formed in the mid-to-late 19th century. Later minutes show the name of the organization to be "Westfield Cemetery Association". Ownership and responsibility for maintenance of the cemetery passed to the Village of Westfield sometime after 1941. The cemetery is also known as East Cemetery and is located in Westfield, Harris Township, Marquette County, Wisconsin.
