This is the family history project for descendants of William and Susannah White, passengers of the ship Mayflower, which arrived at Provincetown Harbor, Plymouth Colony in what is now Massachusetts, United States, on 11 November 1620. Please note that their parentage and origins are not known.
We are also tracing the ancestors and descendants of William Vassall, whose daughter Judith married Resolved White. His father John Vassall was the builder and owner of the Mayflower.

Names
For consistency, please make sure the name fields of Master Profiles are first name, middle name, last name, maiden name if known, otherwise blank.
For the Mayflower passengers, note that in the display name field only. Also use display name for titles preceding the names, such as Dr. or Col.

Places
The USA (United States) did not exist ca. 1620, nor did the UK (United Kingdom). For consistency, please use the place names of England and Massachusetts. For American dating after 1776, please use the full place name of City or County, State, United States in the "place name" field.
Avoid autocomplete, please. The names of cities, counties, colonies and states evolved over time. Be as historically accurate as possible.
