The cemetery in Whites Corners was incorporated in 1870 on land originally owned by Miles White, the second sheriff in Potter County. Application was made to the Court in September 1870 by William J. Latta, James Ladd, and others for a charter to incorporate the White's Corners Association in Harrison Township.
