mtDNA X2 has been located at multiple late Neolithic sities in Central Europa and Eastern Germany.
To X2 belong 99%, the rest is further divided in 15 subclades: from X2a to X20
Strongly present in the Near East, the Caucasus and Mediteranean Europe. Particular concentrations appear amongst Abkhazians in Georgia (8%), the Scotland's Orkney Islands (Scottish Gaelic is a Celtic language!) (7%), and amongst the Israeli Druze Community (27%).
