The U.S.S. Antietam(1943-1963) was an Essex Class Carrier. The ship served in WWII,Korea, in which the ship earned Two Battle Stars.and trained Naval Aviators in Pensacola. The Antietam's anchor is now on display at The Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola ,Florida
