Eliza Ablett (aka Adams) 1850-1920 circa, was my great grandmother Kate Bird's (born Pipe) grandmother. She was born to Hannah Ablett, illegitimately. When the pregnancy was discovered, Hannah was sent to the USA, to have the child as far as my mother says. she married Jonathon William Pipe after the birth, who lost his inheritance by marrying her since she was not a virgin, but he loved her and married her any way. Apparently though, the land owner liked him and made sure they were well taken care of. they had another daughter Ellen or Elln. They had a son named William Pipe who had 12 children including My great grandma Kate. Her father was John Adams, and her mother is unknown. How I wish I had recorded everything my great grandma said.
They lived at Martin Farm, Huntingfield, Suffolk, Nantwich, Cheshire East, England, United Kingdom I think.
