Harcus Genealogy and Harcus Family History Information

My Harcus line came from the Orkney Islands of Scotland. Most of my relatives that immigrated to the US settled in Racine, Wisconsin. Many from the Orkney Islands went to work for the Hudson Bay Company and settled in Canada. Back in the mid 90's is searched all of the phone directories in the US and Canada and found 64 entries in Canada and 68 in the US. The pockets of Harcus entries in the US were found in Boston, Alabama, the panhandle of Florida, Washington State and SE Wisconsin.
