Lutton Genealogy and Lutton Family History Information

My great grandmother Jane Brown born approximately 1828 in Newry married a William Lutton in Ireland and they came to South Australia in the early 1850s. They had a daughter Sarah and a son George. Both children died relatively young possibly of TB. William died approximately 1854. He had gone to the Goldfields in Victoria and become ill and returned to Adelaide. I believe he was buried in Gawler although there isn’t a record. Possibly he was a pauper as he might have abandoned his family . My great grandmother remarried in 1858 and she had more children and lived comfortably.
